Sheryl “Mac” McCollum is an Award-winning CSI from CBS46’s CSI Atlanta and the Director of the Cold Case Investigative Research Institute (CCIRI). She hosts two podcasts, Zone 7 and Crime Round Up with Nancy Grace, and contributes as a writer for CrimeOnLine and as a Forensic Crime Scene Expert for Crime Stories with Nancy Grace. Sheryl holds a master's degree in Criminal Justice with a focus on Policing and is the co-author of the textbook Cold Case: Pathways to Justice. Furthermore, she is actively raising funds and awareness regarding poaching in South Africa through her Wildlife CSI Academy.
As the founder and director of the Cold Case Investigative Research Institute, a 501(c)(3) organization, Sheryl fosters collaboration among universities, colleges, researchers, practitioners, students, and the criminal justice community to enhance for solving cold cases and aid families and law enforcement in addressing unsolved homicides missing persons, and kidnapping cases.
